Edgers Portable Sawmills Log Loaders and Trailers Tractor Log Winches Harvesting Heads

Patu Logging Equipment
Patu DC 40 is a 3 point hitch mounted woodchipper for tractors 15 - 35 hp. It chips material up to 4" in diameter. The large diameter fan blows the chips efficiently onto a truck or back to the ground. The discharge chute rotates 360 degrees and thus enables the chips to be blown to the desired direction.
The DC 40 MF features an efficient manual feed. The three chipping knives pull in most of the material with no pushing by the operator.
The chip size can be adjusted between 5/32" and 1/2". The infeed speed depends on the chip size. With a chip size of 1/4" the feeding speed is approximately 1 foot per second. The feed chute of the Patu DC 40 is on the right hand side of the chipper, which enables the operator to work away from the road traffic.
PATU DC 40 Woodchipper
The DC 40 HF has a hydraulic power feed. The feeding speed can be adjusted with a flow conrol valve.
PATU DC 40 Woodchipper
The feed chute can be folded up and latched. This makes road transport easy. The rear mounted feed chute makes the dc 40 very well suted for use in orchards.
